Hello, I am Christopher Reinke, a London-based digital designer from Paris.
I have a background in English and French Law (LLB), but wanted to do something creative
so I went on to do a Master in Multimedia at the University of Westminster in London.
For the past 12 years, I have worked on projects for a wide range of companies and
brands such as Disney, Lego, Sky, Channel 4, The Guardian, Microsoft and many others.
I have also worked for advertising agencies such as Wunderman, Tag, Adam & Eve, RAPP, etc.
You can find examples of my work below, and if you like what you see, I'd love to hear from you.
As a digital designer, I specialise in front end design, either for websites, banner ads, presentations, or interactive projects.
I work essentially with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash (even though it is on the way out).
I can also create illustrations in a variety of styles that cover a wide range of subjects (entertainment, technical, e-learning, corporate).
My view is that both design and illustrations are great tools to get your message across in the most simple and efficient way.
I have recently started working on a series of low res poly style portraits of artists and people I generally admire and or respect.
They have been very well received on social media, so I am thinking of turning them into limited art prints.
"Chris helped us out with a tricky project that required him to work under tight timeframes
and with an open and pro-active mind.
He was able to work in this way which was incredibly helpful and enabled us to deliver a quality product.
Chris is professional, helpful and confident in his abilities."
"Chris is a great illustrator who initially came in to help us with some game concepts.
He's got a broad range of design skills too from layout design to animation.
The best thing about Chris is that he's hard working and really proactive in moving on to the next task.
He's a genuinely nice guy who would fit in to any team."
"I had the pleasure to meet and work with Christopher while the company was in the urgent need of
a very creative team member that could successfully produce and manage assets across disciplines.
From email design and development to innovative flash apps for facebook, Christopher delivered them all and ahead of schedule. His personality makes him a delight to work with with a positive attitude that magically make stress and pressure disappear."
You can find below a selection of projects I have worked on in the past few years for different clients.
Please find below a breakdown of my software skills:
I have been using Photoshop for years and am very comfortable with it.
My main tool for building websites. I can do HTML but find it easier to use Dreamweaver.
I tend to use both Illustrator and Flash to create digital illustrations and animations.
As mentioned earlier, I can find my way around HTML and CSS, although I am more of a front end professional :)
I am based in North East London, near Manor House Station, and I am happy to work from home or on site, depending on what suits the client best.
